Movie Legends Dance to ‘Uptown Funk’

The world of snazzy dance moves, music and movies come together for a delightful mashup must see!

My mastery of movies only go as far back as my Blockbuster Video and VCR days. For Michael Binder, it means the best Hollywood legends strutting their stuff with a little contemporary twist.

And if you don’t know what Blockbuster or VCRs are, no worries. There is always google. Just watch this video 🙂

Michael Binder, a life long and career “movie aficionado,” tirelessly spent hours taking his favorite dance scenes from the Golden Age of cinema and matching them up with some contemporary uptown funk.

This really impressive Youtube video borrows from the best dance scenes from movies made prior to 1953, and showcases cinematic legends such as Judy Garland, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and even Shirley Temple as they tap dance to hip hop.

Even more impressive, Binder matched up these scenes without slowing down or speeding up the original footage.

Bravo Michael Binder. Your passion for the silver screen is evident in this superbly crafted match up!
